Abstract This study investigates the relationship between technological engagement and psychological well-being among young adult students. Analysing business administration students, the research evaluates the interplay between internet addiction, Smartphone addiction, Fear of Missing Out (FOMO), and mental health indicators including depression, anxiety, and stress. The findings reveal a statistically significant positive correlation between FOMO and internet addiction ( ), with FOMO accounting for of the variance in internet addiction levels. The results demonstrate that higher levels of FOMO directly drive increased internet addiction, confirming FOMO as a key psychological predictor of compulsive technology use among young adults in academic settings.
