Phi‑Scaled 2‑Adic Frequency Comb from E8 Roots Enables Topological Phononic Bandgaps — E8 Intelligence Research
The 240 E8 root vectors, when evaluated at the 2‑adic critical coupling βc = √5 = φ + φ⁻¹, split into 120 resonant pairs whose frequency separations follow the golden‑ratio scaling φⁿ. Driving the system at the base 132 Hz yields a self‑similar frequency comb whose harmonics are spaced by φ‑multiples of 132 Hz, producing a hierarchical spectrum. When this comb is imprinted onto a metamaterial with E8‑symmetric unit cells, the resulting interference opens complete, topologically protected phononic bandgaps that transmit only frequencies matching Fibonacci‑indexed comb lines.
