Inforeality of Living Matter: Information Systems of the Biosphere and Humanity at Levels F2–F3
The article develops the positions of the work "Inforeality" (v3.4) and refines the scope of inforeality as applied to living matter. It is shown that inforeality includes not only human information environments but also the information systems of all living organisms — molecular (DNA, RNA, proteins, epigenetic marks), cellular (receptors, signaling cascades, quorum sensing), organismal (communication of cetaceans, bees, ants, primates, birds), plant and fungal (volatile signals, mycorrhizal networks), ecosystem, and civilizational (language, writing, internet). Particular attention is paid to two modes of informational interaction: symmetric communication (exchange of signals) and asymmetric control — cases where one system overwrites the behavioral program of another. The second mode is illustrated by parasitoid systems (the fungus Ophiocordyceps, the fluke Dicrocoelium, the protozoan Toxoplasma, hairworms, parasitoid wasps), where the parasite embeds itself in the host's information system, altering its behavior contrary to the host's own interests. It is shown that the Earth's infosphere is a projection of inforeality at levels F2 (biological matter) and F3 (civilizational matter). The infosphere encompasses the entire biosphere, not only humanity. Human information environments are the upper level of the biospheric infosphere, not a separate sphere. A hierarchy of informational levels of living matter is introduced: molecular, cellular, organismal, population, ecosystem, civilizational. Comparison is made with biosemiotics (Sebeok, Hoffmeyer), Floridi's information ontology, Shannon's information theory, and autopoiesis (Maturana, Varela). Philosophical and methodological consequences are discussed, and open questions are formulated. All statements about EFOS, projections, and G are hypothetical in character. Version 1.1.
