Inforeality: Definition, Structure, and Place in Projection Ontology

The article introduces the concept of "inforeality" as an ontological category within the projection ontology of EFOS (the Entity Forming Objects and Subjects) in the MBM series. Inforeality is defined as the entirety of informational reality existing as a projection of EFOS when the level of description G = informational. It includes information fields, spaces, objects, connections, flows, and projections onto cognitive registers. Unlike the infosphere, which is a local projection at the F3 level (civilizational matter) and tied to Earth and humanity, inforeality is universal and not tied to any particular local system. A formal notation is introduced: inforeality = P_{G=informational}(EFOS) = {F, S, O, R, P}. The place of inforeality in the "Seven Forms of Matter" (7FM) program is discussed: it is not an eighth form of matter but a cross-cutting aspect of projection manifesting at all levels F1–F7. The terms of the series are distinguished: EFOS (a single concept without indices), UIAM, IAMR. Connections with Floridi's distinction (digital vs informational ontology), informational structural realism (ISR), Yi's dual-projection ontology, and Axelkrans's generative-projection ontology are examined. Key differences are noted: the postulation of a single source of projections, a hierarchy of seven forms of matter, and the distinction of ontological and epistemic levels. Properties of inforeality are described: wholeness, projectionality, universality, dynamism, topological complexity. It is emphasized that inforeality is inaccessible to direct observation and can be judged only by its projections. All statements about EFOS, projections, and G are hypothetical in character. The article is positioned as conceptual; empirical verification is not intended. The term "inforeality" has no established scholarly usage, which justifies its introduction. The work is a terminological refinement of the MBM series and offers a framework for further research. The author invites collaboration and discussion. Version 3.4. License CC BY-NC-ND 4.0.
