Transcriptome of Lily Hybrid Embryos
The genetic background of lily is complex, and severe barriers commonly exist during cross-breeding, resulting in an extremely low hybridization success rate. This significantly compromises the utilization of elite germplasm resources and impedes the breeding process. Based on comprehensive observations encompassing morphological, cytological, and other relevant aspects, ovules collected at 30 days post-pollination (NE30), normal ovules at 40 days post-pollination (NE40), and aborted ovules at 40 days post-pollination (AE40) were selected for cDNA library construction and subsequent Illumina HiSeqTM sequencing.
