The Butterfly Effect, Induced Seismicity, and Global Financial Contagion: A Unified Framework Through Network Amplification and Self-Organized Criticality

This paper proposes a unified framework integrating the butterfly effect from chaos theory, induced seismicity via tectonic weapons, and global financial contagion, with a focus on the Gujarati concept of "Party Uthi Gayi." Drawing on peer-reviewed research, we demonstrate how interconnected networks amplify minor perturbations into cascading catastrophes, driven by self-organized criticality (SOC). In geophysics, electromagnetic pulses trigger seismic activity, as evidenced in Bishkek experiments. In finance, small defaults propagate through networks, mirroring local collapses in Surat's markets. Mathematical cascade models underpin the theory, with warfare implications via engineered contagion or concealed seismic events mimicking "Acts of God." SOC provides a universal lens for scale-invariant amplification across domains, including epidemics and viral information spread.
