Colonoscopy and spleen
Spleen injury after colonoscopy is rare entity that physicians need to be aware that exists. The authors in this flash report, describe the case of a patient presenting with abdominal pain after a colonoscopy, two days proir, resulting in a spleen injury and emergency surgery. Outhers like interventional radiology, if possible, is discussed and could be used to avoid splenectomy.
