δ-Theory Continuity Carrying Difference
δ-Theory begins with a simple question: what must be true for anything to be distinguishable at all? My answer is that reality is invariant continuity carrying irreducible difference. I call continuity τ and difference δ, and their relationship is fixed: τδ = I. In my philosophy τ is Shiva, the still ground, and δ is Kali, the dance. The invariant is Shiva and Shakti together as one. From the global point of view they cannot be told apart; they become distinguishable only in manifestation, in a particle, whose own invariant falls just short of the whole's. The universe exists because perfection does not close. δ is the remainder that prevents perfect closure, and processing latency prevents instantaneous resolution. So local clocks form, differences propagate and get distorted, and every correction arrives into a world that has already changed. From this come space, matter, light, information and observation. Consciousness is present throughout, in every persistent temporal structure. The mathematics has so far given relativity, collisions, crossover births, emergent space, binding and quantum-like measurement from this one invariant. Local clocks complete and leave their remainders to others, but all the clocks can never synchronise together, or reality would cease to exist. Moksha is when a particle stops seeing Shiva and Kali as separate, and its invariant sinks into the global invariant: |I_Global − I_local| → 0. The universe survives precisely because it cannot catch up with itself.
