Growing Up in a Warzone: Why Non-Communicable Diseases Have Become Our Most Dangerous Enemies

We are at war. Society is struggling to combat something bigger than a tyrant: Detrimental rise of non communicable diseases. It is a plague that is encroaching stealthily, and whilst these diseases are not contagious, our lack of awareness about their causes and impacts suck us into a vicious cycle that will continue generationally and accelerate uncontrollably if careful precaution is not taken. Our younger generation has been held hostage- it’s time for us to escape.
