Join the Ambassadors Coordination Group to Strengthen Community Connections for Global Impact

This poster introduces the Research Data Alliance (RDA) Ambassadors Coordination Group (ACG) and invites RDA members from all regions and disciplines to join. Ambassadors connect communities, promote RDA outputs and FAIR data practices, and mentor new members. The group works through two tracks. The Coordination Group meets monthly, builds shared resources, and carries out initiatives based on its priorities. Domain Ambassadors engage externally through a speaker list, disciplinary outreach, and representation at conferences. The poster traces the group's development from the EU-funded Ambassadors programme to a community-driven Coordination Group. It then covers the milestones of 2026: new co-chairs, the move to the RDA Coordination Group platform, and a pilot collaboration with the RDA Technical Advisory Board. It also presents results from a 2026 member survey on members' activities and interests. The survey showed that most members are in Europe, even though RDA has members in more than 150 countries. The poster closes with next steps and an open invitation to help build a truly global network.
