Interview Transcript: Re-Use Standards for Editions Data with Application Programming Interfaces (ReSED API)

The following interview was conducted in the context of the research project “ReSED API - Re-Use Standards for Editions Data with Application Programming Interfaces” funded by Swissuniversities in the period 01.07.2025 – 30.12.2026. Overall, twelve interviews were conducted with the aim of consulting scholars who have detailed knowledge of the digital humanities and editions landscape to find out which data sharing and re-use practices they currently observe, and where the potential for broadening and deepening them lies. The interviewee, in this case Dr James Cummings from the University of Newcastle was sent a basic info questionnaire and a list of questions in preparation for a semi-structured interview which took place over video-chat. The transcript was generated by the integrated tool of MS Teams and edited by both participants of the interview. The publication of the transcript follows explicit consent given by the interviewee.
