Pharmacologic management of mild-to-moderate asthma in adults
ABSTRACT: Asthma is a chronic disease that persists into adulthood. Despite available treatments, many adults have poor symptom control. This article reviews the diagnosis of asthma and outlines current Global Initiative for Asthma recommendations for preferred and alternative pharmacologic management of mild-to-moderate asthma in adults.
