User personas for the paleo data ecosystem

This resource includes a set of five user personas (semi-fictional, composite characters) created based on a series of user interviews, plus holistic insights from regular interactions with members of the Paleo Data Working Group. Personas represent two broad categories of palaeontology data stakeholders–researchers and collections care professionals–and were developed to define explicit user needs, explore users’ relationships to resources across the data ecosystem and identify high-impact areas of improvement, i.e. those which would benefit multiple users or disciplines beyond palaeontology. Included here are five individual documents for each of the detailed personas, plus one compiled document with professionally designed visualizations for the personas.
