ENHANCING EFL STUDENTS' PRAGMATIC AWARENESS THROUGH AI-SUPPORTED MULTIMODAL INTERACTION

This article examines the methodological potential of developing EFL students’ pragmatic awareness through AI-supported multimodal interaction. Pragmatic awareness is interpreted as the ability to recognize communicative intention, social relationships, politeness levels, implicatures, and contextually appropriate linguistic choices in specific communicative situations. The study proposes a methodological model integrating AI-generated text, audio, visual materials, dialogues, and situational simulations within a unified instructional process.
