Complete genome sequences of 22 Staphylococcus spp. bacteriophages isolated from a single swine farm environment in Quebec, Canada
ABSTRACT Twenty-two bacteriophages infecting Staphylococcus spp. were isolated from water and manure collected on a Quebec swine farm affected by exudative epidermitis. Phylogenetic analysis of their genomes showed that 20 of them clustered into two groups, Twort- and ShyM-like. No CRISPR-Cas systems, antimicrobial resistance determinants, or virulence genes were identified.
