Comment on “Analysis and Control of partial power Processing Nonisolated Bidirectional DC–DC Converter”
ABSTRACT In the paper “Analysis and Control of Partial Power Processing Nonisolated Bidirectional DC–DC Converter” by Hu et al., a partial power processing non‐isolated bidirectional DC–DC converter was proposed, where one part of the system power is transmitted to the load through the non‐isolated bidirectional DC–DC converter, whereas the other part is transferred via the direct path without any processing. The purpose of this note is complementing by demonstrating that the proposed converter is actually a common‐positive‐rail bidirectional buck/boost power stage performing full rather than partial power processing.
