The Gravitational Constant, the Number 18, and the Higgs Boson in the Unified Wave Cosmological Model (UWCM): A Unified Ontological Origin

Abstract (English) A new interpretation of the gravitational constant (G), the number 18, and the Higgs boson is proposed within the framework of the Unified Wave Cosmological Model (UWCM). Unlike the Standard Model of particle physics and ΛCDM, where these quantities are free parameters or require artificial fine-tuning, UWCM derives them from its initial postulates — the Plast (discrete network of spacetime), the Super-Tense Gravitational Wave (SGW, ontological boundary of the cycle), and the principle of the internal observer. This is done without changing or rejecting General Relativity or Quantum Field Theory. The model proposes the following conceptual shifts: Gravity: G is interpreted not as a coupling constant, but as a coefficient of energy transfer through the topology of the transition between the SGW and the Plast. The evolution of G is unobservable from within due to the synchronous scaling of standards, which explains the heterogeneity of BiSON/LLR data without violating General Relativity. The number 18: its algebraic origin is for the first time justified through the Lunn transition (1922) from α¹⁷ to α¹⁸ when replacing dimensional charges with a quantum-relativistic formulation, linking the structure of the symmetry group Z₃ × Z₃ × Z₂ to the architecture of reality. The nature of mass and the Higgs field: the Higgs field is treated as the global background tension of the Plast framework, and the Higgs boson as the local cost of exciting this configuration (f_eff ≈ 756 − 18 = 738). This eliminates the problem of fine-tuning of masses: the mass of a particle is determined not by the Lagrangian, but by the cost of deforming a node in a given topology. Dark energy (Λ): follows directly from the dynamics of the system. Since G continuously transfers energy from the boundary (SGW) to the framework, the evolution of Λ is a thermodynamic inevitability, not a mysterious parameter. Thus, the work shifts the focus from the question "How to describe interactions?" to the question "Why do they work this way?", offering a single causal chain instead of a set of fitted parameters.
