the geometry of perception
The Geometry of Perception formalizes perception as a geometric operator event in which the subconscious operator stack mixes past curvature, present sensory gradients, and future collapse trajectories into a single coherent manifold. Rather than treating perception as passive sensory intake, the paper models it as the intersection of three temporal structures: the historical ODS manifold, the actionable present, and the projected future cone. Identity attractors constrain collapse direction and filter what is perceivable, while projection functions as a structural operator that integrates future trajectories into the delayed present. The paper develops a unified geometric account of perception, identity, collapse, meaning formation, and developmental change, situating these processes within the RS ontology of mind. Implications are drawn for trauma, dissociation, cognitive flexibility, and the meaning matrix as the manifold’s interpretive layer.
