Comment on ‘Effectiveness, safety and tolerability of ozenoxacin 2% lotion vs clindamycin 1% lotion in mild to moderate truncal acne’: considerations regarding sample size and treatment-related withdrawal

This letter discusses two methodological considerations in a randomized trial comparing ozenoxacin 2% lotion with clindamycin 1% lotion for mild-to-moderate truncal acne. We highlight uncertainty regarding the sample-size calculation and the handling of treatment-related withdrawals, which may affect interpretation of the comparative treatment effects.
