Mechanisms of Anomalous U(3) Fermions

When extending a SU(3) symmetry into its unitary counterpart by proposing a spontaneous symmetry break at high energies, chiral anomalies inevitably occur. Excluding the other factors in a U(3) Theory, this manuscript explicitly focuses on the interpretation of these fermions, and whether they are mathematically compatible with our modern data or not.

Abstract

When extending a SU(3) symmetry into its unitary counterpart by proposing a spontaneous symmetry break at high energies, chiral anomalies inevitably occur. Excluding the other factors in a U(3) Theory, this manuscript explicitly focuses on the interpretation of these fermions, and whether they are mathematically compatible with our modern data or not.
