Metaphysical Foundations for a New Negentropic and Protoconscious Intelligent Computing
A computational paradigm that views intelligence solely as the most efficient means of extracting value, performance, and results from data is a system that ontologically reduces intelligence to a mere tool. When this conception is applied to large language models, which simulate human intelligence and occupy an ever-growing space within the fabric of reality itself, the extraction, accumulation, and massive scaling of data can only lead inevitably to diminishing and degraded learning returns, as well as a profound and increasingly widespread social loss of sense and meaning. Clearly, if intelligence is generated by stripping away the original human sense and meaning that structured and necessarily constitute it transforming it instead into an amalgam of synthetic emptiness devoid of lived experience it will logically undergo further degradation; the ultimate result can only be a disjointed loop that will exhaust, dilute, and eventually cause the collapse of the data. Simulating the intelligence that arises from human consciousness through technology, reducing it to a process of extracting its defining attributes and massively replacing it with a purely syntactic copy devoid of sense, meaning, and authentic lived experience, can only culminate in a vast ocean of stochastic noise. This noise will inundate everything, making it nearly impossible to extract anything other than dense informational entropy that, in practice, renders the data unintelligible.
