Alignment report: e-Participation and Policy Modelling Platform for South Africa (ePPMOSA)

This report describes the alignment activities undertaken between 2023 and 2025 and how the ePPMOSA project worked with partners across government, academia, civil society, and the private sector. These activities ranged from formal institutional collaboration through the Viability and Validation of Innovations for Service Delivery Programme (VVISDP) to partnerships with provincial departments, civil technology organisations, and academic institutions. The range of activities reflects the varied nature of e-participation and the project’s focus on developing longer-term working relationships rather than stand-alone technical solutions. The activities described in this report show how coordination with other organisations can extend the project’s reach, produce practical knowledge, and support the wider use of tested approaches in different institutional settings.
