B2AppX — Web Experience Architecture
B2AppX — Web Experience Architecture is an independent framework, methodology, and architectural concept for developing modern digital web experiences from existing websites. The framework introduces a dedicated B2AppX Experience Layer between the existing website or content management system and the user-facing interface. This layer can reshape navigation, interaction, presentation, and selected website functions while preserving the original website as the primary source for content and management. B2AppX is designed around the principle of maintaining one content source and one management platform, avoiding the need for a separate content management system. Progressive Web App (PWA) technologies may be incorporated as technical components of an implementation, particularly where installability and standalone web experiences are required; however, B2AppX is not synonymous with PWA. The initial proof of concept was developed using Blogger as the content and management environment. Blogger represents the first implementation context of the framework rather than a limitation of the concept. The architectural approach can be applied to different categories of websites, including e-commerce, education, publishing, libraries, services, and personal websites. This document presents the conceptual foundation, architectural model, core principles, relationship with existing websites and PWA technologies, and the initial proof-of-concept context of B2AppX. The work is presented as a conceptual and technical framework for further experimentation, implementation, evaluation, and development.
