The Tipper128 Attack: A Knight-Sacrifice King-Hunt Pattern for White

The Tipper128 Attack is a named chess attacking pattern for White characterized by an early Ng5 followed by Nxf7, in which White is willing to sacrifice the knight to displace or expose the Black king. White then uses forcing bishop and queen activity, commonly involving Bc4+, Qh5+, and Qd5, to maintain the initiative and create a mating attack centered on f7, with Qf7# as a characteristic finish. This Version 1.2 documents two model games played by Tipper128 demonstrating different defensive branches: the ...Nf6 variation and the ...Nh6/Bxh6 removal-of-the-defender variation. The term “Tipper128 Attack” is introduced by Tipper128 as the author's name for this attacking pattern. This publication does not claim that the underlying chess moves, sacrifices, or mating ideas have never appeared previously in chess.
