CanopySat Independent Validation Report v1.0 — Comparison Against Hansen/UMD GFW 2025, FAO FRA 2020 and ESA WorldCover 2021

Scientific credibility requires independent validation. This report presents a systematic comparison of CanopySat forest monitoring results against three major global reference datasets: (1) the Hansen/UMD Global Forest Change 2025, (2) the FAO Global Forest Resources Assessment 2020, and (3) the ESA WorldCover 2021. Results demonstrate strong scientific consistency across all three datasets, with near-perfect agreement for dense tropical forests (Amazon: +0.1% vs ESA WorldCover, 0.0% vs Hansen/UMD).
