ДОСЛІДЖЕННЯ ЗАЛЕЖНОСТІ СХОЖОСТІ НАСІННЯ СОЇ ВІД ОПТИМАЛЬНИХ РЕЖИМІВ СУШІННЯ
The existing technology for storing soybean seeds needs to be improved. The main adverse changes in the technological properties of soybean seeds can be due to both overheating of the grain and too rapid moisture removal due to a more intensive dehydration regime. This can lead to disruption of the micro- and macrostructure of the grain. At the same time, it is important not to overdry the material below the established equilibrium moisture content of the seed, as this leads to additional energy consumption and possible deterioration of quality characteristics. The current state of the art allows for better research and analysis of soybean seed drying using automatic process processing with kinetics graphs. Experimental studies on the kinetics of drying soybean seeds in the temperature range of 40–80 °C, with an initial material humidity of 16–24 % and a heat carrier rate of 0.5–1.5 m/s were conducted, which showed that the highest germination is observed at a heat carrier temperature of 40 °C – 100 %. However, at a heat carrier temperature of 50 °C and initial humidity values of 16 % and a heat carrier rate of 0.5 m/s, germination is 96 %. Therefore, to optimize and intensify the process, it is advisable to dry soybean seeds at a heat carrier temperature of 50 °C and minimum values of the initial material humidity and rate of drying.
