HOMOEOPATHIC MANAGEMENT OF RHEUMATOID ARTHRITIS WITH X-RAY: A CASE REPORT WITH SERIAL CLINICAL AND LABORATORY ASSESSMENT

Rheumatoid arthritis (RA) is a chronic systemic inflammatory disease characterized by persistent synovial inflammation, symmetrical polyarthritis, progressive joint destruction, and functional impairment. The present case report describes a 39-year-old female with a four-year history presenting pain and stiffness involving small joints of the hands, followed by involvement of knees and ankles, associated with generalized weakness and tingling sensations. X-ray was prescribed during different stages of treatment based on the homoeopathic assessment. This case illustrates the use of individualized homoeopathic prescribing in a patient with rheumatoid arthritis and highlights importance of the continual reassessment of the symptom picture during follow-up.
