Sustaining lifesaving care: Tactical infrastructural adaptations for clinics in low-resource settings during severe flooding

We present a number of suggestions that will ensure continuity of medical care services at tropical clinics in situations where isolation is caused by frequent massive floods and lack of electricity. We demonstrate how the move from resource-limited triage will be achieved through the use of manual instruments, heat-stable drugs and community task-shifting in order to address trauma, emergency delivery and sepsis.
