The Metric Trace_ A Metrological Framework for Resolving LENR Irreproducibility

This preprint addresses the persistent problem of LENR irreproducibility by introducing the concept of the metric trace—a history-dependent state of a sample that influences nuclear reaction rates. We propose using the Attractor Scanner (a three-channel atomic clock array) to measure the metric trace before LENR experiments, enabling prediction of outcomes. We provide a physical model linking the metric trace to materials science parameters, a metrological characterization of the Scanner, a statistical plan for a 100-sample experiment, and a falsification criterion. This transforms LENR from a hit-or-miss phenomenon into a quantifiable, predictable process. This is the third document in a three-part verification program.
