Ethanol phase-equilibrium curve with account for renormalization group and Clapeyron–Clausius equation
This paper presents the developed elasticity line eqiuations for ethanol, vapor and liquid branches of coesistence and “apparent” heat of vaporization r*. They describe the phase-equilibrium curve in a temperature range from the triple to cirtical points. All four equations are complied by critical parameters, as well as by degrees for all equation components which have been calculated in the framework of renormalization group and the scale theory. The saturation curve coefficients defining the behavior of mean diameter and order parameter in the critical point vicinity are found from a correlation. This correlation links critical amplitude and a critical index in a saturation curve and a renormalization group. The developed model of phase equilibrium curve describes the experimental data on presure and density of saturated vapor and saturated liquid eathnol density with a smaller error than from the presvious equations [1–4].
