Theory of Dynamic Adaptive Warfare: A Post-Classical Framework for Contemporary Warfare — Force, Decision, Normativity and Strategic Adaptation Across Domains

This preprint develops the Theory of Dynamic Adaptive Warfare (TDAW) as a post-classical analytical framework for understanding contemporary warfare. It examines the transformation of conflict beyond conventional models centered on territorial confrontation, linear escalation, and exclusively state-based military action. The study integrates war theory, strategic decision-making, game theory, international law, and adaptive systems to analyze the interaction between force, normativity, technology, information, cognition, and strategic behavior across multiple domains. Particular attention is given to the growing relevance of hybrid, cyber, cognitive, informational, and space-related dimensions of conflict, as well as to the strategic effects produced by asymmetric capabilities and rapidly changing operational environments. The paper argues for an interdisciplinary framework capable of explaining contemporary warfare as a dynamic process of adaptation, feedback, strategic interaction, and cross-domain transformation.
