00_READ_ME_FIRST — TUS OS® Public Reading Map and Document Authority Index v3.0

Description 00_READ_ME_FIRST — TUS OS® Public Reading Map and Document Authority Index v3.0 is the canonical public navigation layer for the TUS OS® corpus as of 19 September 2026. It is designed to help human readers and AI systems understand the project efficiently while preserving the distinct authority of explanatory material, normative specifications, realised evidence, applied pilots, mathematical research, the integrative synthesis, and historical foundations. The map provides a fast newcomer orientation route, a four-pass authority-aware AI ingestion path, a document-type key, a layer-by-layer operational corpus index, a scoped document-authority model, dedicated guidance for inspecting the public receipt example and the two released pilots, and a separately contained mathematical programme section titled A General Theory of Answerability. The mathematical programme is intentionally kept distinct from the operational, authority, receipt, and pilot corpus to prevent research claims from being confused with protocol or realised-run authority. It contains the complete eleven-paper TUS OS mathematical research programme, with Papers 4 and 10 each divided into two technical volumes. The sequence runs from finite-state and quantum-operational structure through predictive and process theory, contract-relative resource theory, operational observability, answerable-inference resource geometry, the Answerability Calculus, exact TUS OS formal and executable realisation, and finally Paper 11 — A General Theory of Answerability, the capstone theorem paper establishing Structural Identity, Recognition, the canonical mandatory protected core, and lawful realisation freedom at its stated scope. The map also distinguishes current corpus authority from run-bound authority, so later releases do not retrospectively rewrite the authority or custody of completed runs. Authority remains surface-specific: normative protocol documents govern protocol truth, canonical receipts and authoritative set artefacts govern realised emitted values, semantic and Binding authorities govern permitted interpretation, activated Domain Profiles govern run-specific domain meaning, and downstream reports may not override their support base. The indexed operational corpus includes the TUS OS Front Door and Full Architecture papers, Governed Semantic Triangulation, the fixed protocol and computational foundation stack, the Triad architecture and active set specification, the Semantics Map, Binding Manual v1.1, TUS Core Rubric v1, Domain Binding Template v1.1, the Triad Receipt Stack Public Example v1.0.1 for AI Conformance, two Anthropic J-Space public pilot inspection packages, and the principal historical foundation papers. The document also makes the public/private production boundary explicit. The governing architecture and released result chains are public and are intended to provide the material required to understand, inspect and challenge the governing logic and released results. The reusable Layer 2 production workflow—including internal production orchestration, reusable report-production procedures, internal prompts and operating instructions, validation tooling, QA controls, and related production know-how—remains private while that operating layer is under active development. The public corpus is therefore not presented as a complete operator manual or production implementation. This v2.0 release supersedes v1.0. Its principal change is the completion and formal presentation of A General Theory of Answerability as a first-class, self-contained eleven-paper mathematical research programme. It expands the earlier mathematical register through Papers 6–11, adds both technical volumes of The Complete TUS OS Executable Realisation, incorporates the Paper 11 capstone, updates the AI research-lock path and mathematical review criteria, and updates the project-stage description to the current public technical, mathematical, applied-inspection, executable-realisation, and General-Theory stage. Author identity and publication provenance are available through ORCID. tus-os.com provides the public discovery and access hub, and the TUS OS website provides access to the complete mathematical programme through Paper 11. Substantive authority remains with the versioned DOI/Zenodo-bound documents, realised artefacts, and scoped authority surfaces indexed in the map. Abstract
