Entrepreneurial Intention of University students in Delhi/NCR: The role of Entrepreneurial Education
Entrepreneurial intention, which refers to the propensity of individuals to engage in entrepreneurial activities, has attracted considerable interest in the field of entrepreneurship research. This systematic review explores the intricate relationship between entrepreneurial intention and entrepreneurial education. Entrepreneurial education is identified as a vital determinant in influencing entrepreneurial aspirations. The study highlights the impact of formal educational programs and mentorship in cultivating entrepreneurial desire among individuals. This review aims to analyse the direct and indirect effects of entrepreneurial education on entrepreneurial intention, mediated by subjective norms, attitude, and perceived behaviour. By achieving this objective, the study aims to provide insights into the mechanisms through which entrepreneurial education shapes individuals’ attitudes, perceived behaviour, and ultimately their intentions to engage in entrepreneurial activities. Additionally, it discusses the implications of these findings for policymakers, educators, and practitioners seeking to promote entrepreneurship and foster an entrepreneurial culture. Overall, this study review contributes to a deeper understanding of the multifaceted interplay between entrepreneurial education mind-set and entrepreneurial intention. It underscores the importance of considering educational interventions in shaping individuals' entrepreneurial mind-set and behaviour, offering valuable insights for future research and practice in the field of entrepreneurship.
