Scales of Faith : The Judicial and Constitutional Dilemmas of the Ram Mandir Dispute Dr. Aman Kumar Singh* Sh. Yuvraj Singh** The Ayodhya dispute, culminating in the Ram Mandir litigation, represents one of the most complex intersections of property law, constitutional secularism, and religious belief in India’s jurisprudence. This paper analyses the judicial dilemmas faced by Indian courts in adjudicating disputes now a days. Focusing primarily on the epistemological challenges of validating faith-based claims, the constitutional tensions surrounding secularism, and the jurisprudential friction evident in the 2010 Allahabad High Court verdict, this study examines how the judiciary navigated the transition from a strict property dispute to a matter of national socio-political significance.
