Smart Home Assistant Rover Robot with Voice Control and Object Detection
This paper presents a Smart Home Assistant Rover Robot with Voice Control and Object Detection, designed to provide intelligent assistance and remote monitoring in a home environment. The system integrates a mobile robotic platform with wireless control, voice-based commands, and real-time object detection using computer vision. The object detection component uses a YOLOv8-based deep learning model to identify objects from a camera feed, while the ESP32-based control system enables wireless movement of the rover. The proposed system demonstrates the integration of robotics, artificial intelligence, computer vision, and voice control for smart home assistance applications.
