International Data Librarianship: Takeaways from a Fulbright France Experience

International librarianship can be an excellent opportunity to network and learn from other practitioners while experiencing a different culture. I completed a semester-long fellowship at a large, research-intensive French university during Spring 2026. This short talk will highlight my experiences in working with a range of open science practitioners, what I learned, and what I have taken from the experience to help me rethink my work and processes as a solo data librarian.
