Compounding Public Evidence: Managing a Business's Public Evidence
Compounding Public Evidence is a conceptual framework for analysing and managing the relationship between a business's operational reality and the public evidence available about its significant attributes. The framework introduces the Public Evidence Structure as a management object mapped against a Reference Attribute Inventory and described through Public Evidence Coverage, Evidence Strength, Public Evidence Gaps, Surface Distribution, provenance, and Public Evidence Dynamics. It distinguishes between what exists in a business, what matters to customer choice, and what is actually evidenced in the public information environment. The framework also describes how information generated through past customer experience may persist and participate in subsequent cycles of evaluation and choice. This Method Note defines the conceptual model, its boundaries, its relationship to prior work, and its testable propositions. It does not prescribe proprietary operational procedures and does not claim guaranteed effects on search rankings, AI recommendations, conversion, or revenue. Version 1.0.
