Abstract Coronavirus disease-2019 (COVID-19), caused by Severe Acute Respiratory Syndrome Coronavirus-2 (SARS-CoV-2), is a contagious viral infection that primarily affects the respiratory system. Its clinical spectrum varies widely, ranging from asymptomatic cases and mild upper respiratory symptoms to severe pneumonia, acute respiratory distress syndrome, and respiratory failure. Because the disease presents with diverse and evolving symptoms, individualized assessment is essential for appropriate case management. Therapeutics of the Respiratory System by Mervin W. Van Den burg is a specialized homoeopathic repertory focusing on respiratory disorders. This review examines the relationship between the common clinical features of COVID-19 and the reportorial rubrics described in Van Denburg’s work.
