A New Iterative Method for Generalized Nonexpansive Mappings
ABSTRACT In this article, we introduce a novel iterative algorithm, called the KK iteration scheme, for approximating fixed points of generalized ‐nonexpansive mappings in Banach spaces. Weak and strong convergence theorems are established in uniformly convex Banach spaces (UCBSs) under suitable assumptions. The computational performance of the proposed scheme is investigated through numerical comparisons with several well‐known iterative methods. Furthermore, polynomiographs generated using the KK iteration scheme are compared with those obtained from classical iterative methods to examine their computational behavior and visual structures.
