Assessment of the level of formation of Russian civilizational identity in future specialists in the field of physical education

The purpose of the study is to identify the level of formation of Russian civilizational identity (RCI) in future specialists in the field of physical education. Research methods: analysis and synthesis of scientific literature data and a questionnaire survey. Research results and conclusions. The results of a survey of students to identify their level of RCI formation are presented. The best indicators were obtained for the emotional-evaluative and motivational-volitional components of RCI formation in students. At the same time, serious concern is caused by a large percentage of students at unacceptable and critical levels of formation of the cognitive and behavioral components. The obtained results of identifying the levels of RCI formation in future specialists in the field of physical education serve as a basis for further development of the content and methods of introducing students to the values of Russian civilization.
