LIVE WEIGHT DYNAMICS AND EARLY MATURITY OF FATTENING LAMBS UNDER THE INFLUENCE OF PHYTOBIOTICS

This study investigated the effect of the phytobiotic feed additive “FITOS” on live weight dynamics and early maturity of fattening lambs. The experiment involved three groups: a control group and two experimental groups receiving the additive at doses of 5 g and 10 g per head per day. The results showed that “FITOS” significantly increased absolute and average daily weight gain, improved feed digestibility, and accelerated the attainment of market weight. The highest biological efficiency was observed at a dose of 5 g/head/day. Reduced variability of the indicators and greater stability of growth were also recorded. The findings confirm the scientific and practical relevance of using phytobiotics in intensive lamb fattening.
