FROM THE DUALISTIC WORLDVIEW TO SUBSTANTIAL TRIALISM: The Theory of the Trialistic Phase Continuum (TTPC)
This work is devoted to the philosophical and methodological substantiation of the transition from the classical dualistic worldview to the paradigm of substantial trialism within the developing conceptual framework of the Theory of the Trialistic Phase Continuum (TTPC). The article aims to develop a trialistic model of the relationship between Information (Code), Matter (Corpuscle), and Energy (Wave) as irreducible, relatively autonomous, and interconnected aspects of a single causal reality. Within the framework of TTPC, a three-dimensional state space VIK is introduced, the coordinates of which denote the Corpuscle (variable K), the Wave (variable V), and the Code (variable I). The Corpuscle is interpreted as the aspect of localization and stable form, the Wave as the aspect of dynamics and transition, and the Code as the aspect of organization, distinction, and interconnectedness. The ratio of these coordinates is determined by the quadratic normalization condition:K² + V² + I² = 1The proposed geometric scheme is utilized to describe mixed configurations of reality and the inherently signed orientation of its phase facets. Based on this scheme, philosophical interpretations of quantum measurement and decoherence are developed, treating them as processes of state fixation and bond modification within a causal continuum. TTPC is also applied to analyze the interplay between structure, dynamics, and informational organization in complex systems, cosmology, biological evolution, and the philosophy of mind. It is demonstrated that the VIK space can serve as a multidisciplinary language for discussing the psychophysical problem, systemic organization, and the status of information within the fabric of reality. Outlines for further development of the model are traced, including the formalization of signed coordinates, the investigation of phase transitions, and the comparative analysis of TTPC against complex systems theories, structural realism, the philosophy of information, and integrated information theories. The model maintains a conceptual-theoretical status and is intended for further philosophical and formal expansion.
