Neurofibromatosis type 1 complicated by pelvic arteriovenous fistula and pseudoaneurysm: A rare case with endovascular management

We describe a case of an 80-year-old man with neurofibromatosis type 1 (NF1) who presented with weakness, weight loss, anemia, and inflammatory symptoms, initially raising suspicion for malignancy. Further hematologic evaluation confirmed chronic lymphocytic leukemia while an adrenal mass was also identified. but further work-up revealed a right common iliac artery pseudoaneurysm with arteriovenous fistula formation to right common iliac vein. This case illustrates a rare vascular complication of NF1 and the success of endovascular management in achieving a favorable outcome.
