Resource Scarcity and the Future of Human Civilization
This paper examines resource scarcity and its implications for the future of human civilization, with particular attention to Mars settlement and the technological constraints of planetary expansion. Drawing on perspectives from psycholinguistics, resource forecasting, and the philosophy of progress, the study explores how growing resource limitations on Earth may influence humanity’s long-term development and interest in extraterrestrial settlement.
