An Analysis of "Cleaned Windows by Jack Hathaway": Very Clean Math

This short science write applies mathematics to qualitative data from the International Space Station (ISS) to yield values for, and quantitative meaning to, “Cleaned Windows by Jack Hathaway” (Menon 2026). A concept of 360 and patterns of three helps us figure out the angles that open and close windows in the cupola. Thirty-degrees to open windows in the cupola and 120-degrees to close windows in the cupola. These values affirm the 90-degree angle it takes to move from the y-axis (i.e., x = 0) to the x-axis (i.e., y = 0). With our delta close and open (i.e., 120-degree and 30-degree) being 90 (i.e., 90-degree), we see very clean math in “Cleaned Windows by Jack Hathaway” (2026).
