Taking Water 2050 From Vision to Action

A WWA's Water 2050 initiative is nearing its sixth year, following a purposeful trajectory.It began by envisioning a water future that is secure, sustainable, affordable, resilient, and innovative.Through a series of think tanks, industry leaders and visionaries examined the challenges and potential solutions needed to achieve this vision.Guided by five forces shaping the water industrytechnology, economics, governance, sustainability, and sociodemographics-these discussions informed the Water 2050 reports and produced 47 recommendations to help water professionals shape a better future.
