Every Human Life is of Equal Worth

ABSTRACT The challenge for progressives today is not only to marshal the right policies and the right arguments. It is to answer a question that has loomed large since the global financial crisis, and the political upheavals that followed it: in a more challenging and dangerous world, what is progressive politics for? This summer, IPPR offered one answer, making the case for a new politics of reciprocity and democratic citizenship. We invited a number of MPs, elected in July 2024, to offer their reflections.
