Biomechanical Analysis of a World Record Vertical-Diagonal Jump over 3 People at 2 Meters Height Using the Mai Mawari Okami Judo Technique
This case study examines the biomechanical parameters of a vertical-diagonal jump over 3 people at approximately 2 meters height, performed on August 25, 2000 (3 Shahrivar 1379), at the age of 17, using the Mai Mawari Okami technique from Judo. This record was officially confirmed by Guinness World Records (Certificate No. Guinness-India-R-115) on the same day as two other Guinness World Records (Handwalking, Certificate No. R-113, and Horizontal Jump over 13 People, Certificate No. R-114). The participant was a 17-year-old male athlete (height: 170 cm, weight: 75 kg) with 12 years of sports experience. The jump was performed over 3 individuals in a squatting position, side by side, at approximately 2 meters height, in an outdoor desert area in Komehrd Village, Tehran, Iran.
