I35c. Pilot Cross-Domain Validation of A9DDC: Added Discriminatory Capacity, Negative Control, and Limits of Reproducibility
A9DDC was introduced in I35b as an integrated nine-component architectural and spatial-chronal audit of scientific constructs: T–C–S–P | E–Sp–Tm–F–O where T denotes Terminological Correspondence; C, Conceptual Correspondence; S, Structural Correspondence; P, Provenance; E, Evidential Support; Sp, Spatial or System Scale; Tm, Temporal Horizon; F, Feedback; and O, Subsequent State or Outcome. A larger number of analytical components, however, does not by itself establish greater scientific discriminatory capacity. The present study therefore conducts a first pilot cross-domain test of A9DDC v1.0 using five cases outside the substantive core of Vitology. The cases are: Case A — Lagrangian and Hamiltonian formulations of classical mechanics; Case B — Schrödinger and Heisenberg pictures of quantum mechanics; Case C — Newtonian fluxions and Leibnizian differential calculus as a test of provenance and chronology; Case D — dynamical systems and feedback architecture; Case E — SO(2) and U(1) as a negative control relative to a specified formal criterion of correspondence. Three analytical levels are compared: Baseline A — Text/Semantic Comparison Baseline B — T–C–S–P Method C — Full A9DDC: T–C–S–P | E–Sp–Tm–F–O Cases A–D yield preliminary R3 — Complementary Capacity outcomes, although for different methodological reasons. Case D provides the strongest pilot support for the additional function of the dynamic components Tm–F–O. Case E yields R0 — No Added Capacity relative to the selected baseline. These results do not establish universal validity, superiority, or independent reproducibility of A9DDC. The more limited conclusion is that, within Pilot Validation Set 1, A9DDC demonstrates potential context-dependent complementary discriminatory capacity requiring subsequent independent testing.
