D1.3 Microfluidic network for sensor integration
D1.3, Microfluidic network for sensor integration, describes how several microfluidic devices were designed, tested and constructed by Eden based on the electrodes used for the realization of electrochemical biosensors. The work reported in this document, kept sensitive, is part of work package 1 and in particular Task 1.3: Design and optimization of microfluidic systems for electrochemical sensors. Eden mainly worked with NTUA inputs & feedback and realised several prototypes. All prototypes were shipped to NUTA for lab tests. Multiple replicas of one device that meet all specifications have been successfully realized and are now used by NTUA and other partners using the MOBILES common biosensor electrodes and readout circuit. At month 22 (June 2026) of project implementation Eden tech entered a liquidation procedure that ceased all experimental activities connected to MOBILES project. A project amendment procedure was in place at the time this document was prepared, this procedure will end with the withdrawal of Eden Tech from the consortium. Nevertheless, thanks to the fact that microfluid prototypes have been realized and delivered at NTUA premises, the subsequent field and lab test will be performed as scheduled by the project work’s plan.
